We believe that it is our responsibility to create a more sustainable planet for our future generations. For us, the idea of serving our customers a product that’s environmentally conscious isn’t an add-on — it’s non-negotiable.

 

Unfortunately, there’s not enough sustainable packaging in the world yet. Here is a glimpse into how we have approached sustainability so far:

• Our flavoured instant coffee that gives you the desired caffeine kick and keeps you charged all day, is completely plant based, it is infused with 6 plant based Vitamins and comes in glass jars that have metal caps. Glass is sustainable and 100 percent endlessly recyclable and also helps mitigate climate change. 

• Our coasters that add a fun and quirky touch to your coffee corner, are made from cork material, which is completely biodegradable and can be easily recycled without producing any toxic residues. 

• Our Cold Brew bags, are 100 percent natural and biodegradable and are made using easily compostable corn fibre mesh. They come in tin boxes, they can be upcycled and used as storage boxes and more.

Rage Coffee’s shot tubes – our first test product were also made from the highest quality PET material which was recyclable and self-biodegradable.

Since the response to the shot tubes was encouraging, we decided to bring out bigger sizes of glass jars.

We didn’t want to be able to pat ourselves on the back by merely innovating on packaging that was self-biodegradable but everyday we are working on something that improves the sustainability of our products. We also make sure our processes are environmentally conscious from the factory up.

Enjoy the luxurious, guilt-free and sustainable brew

As a brand we have to shoulder the very real challenge ahead of us. We are approaching sustainability from a wide perspective of business, including packaging and sourcing. Being 100% sustainable will require its own time, but we are heading in that direction and we aim to be sustainable in the present and the future.

1. Earth-friendly packaging

Committed to sustainability, we choose earth-friendly materials and packaging that do not stress the environment. So, serving customers a product that was environmentally-conscious was non negotiable. And that is how the brand came up with the idea of using plastic-free, sustainable and biodegradable materials such as cardboard packaging, and corn fiber mesh in cold brew bags. In addition, glass jars and bottles, metal caps, tin boxes and their recently introduced cork coasters are all made from earth-friendly materials

2. Sustainable sourcing of beans

Our commitment to sustainability reflects in the way their coffee beans are sourced and engineered through proprietary technology. Sourced directly from renowned plantations in Harar (Ethiopia), Chikmagalur, and Coorg (India), the beans go through rigorous quality checks throughout the process of picking, sorting, roasting, and grinding, ensuring your coffee is uniquely smooth, delicious, and aromatic.

3. Re-use and upcycling

To ensure that our packaging waste does not end up in an ocean or a landfill, we share a knowledge base with our customers on how to reuse and upcycle their packaging such as tin boxes and glass jars.
